Anders Ericsson

K. Anders Ericsson was a Swedish psychologist internationally recognized as a researcher in the psychological nature of expertise and human performance. He earned his PhD in 1976 from Stockholm University and served as Conradi Eminent Scholar and Professor of Psychology at Florida State University. He was a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. In 2016, he and science writer Robert Pool published Peak: Secrets from the New Science of Expertise, and he coined the term 'deliberate practice' to describe the learning method experts use to achieve superior performance.
