Monetus

Monetus was a Brazilian investment-management fintech founded in 2016 in Belo Horizonte by fund manager Daniel Calonge. A pioneer in goal-based automated investing (robo-advisor) in Brazil, in 2019 it launched a fund comparison tool with quality ratings and portfolio simulation. In 2021 it was acquired by Toro Investimentos, which absorbed the service. Together with the 12min Personalities team it co-authored the 'Guia 12min para Investidores Iniciantes', a 12min Original on first steps in the financial market.
