Roy Keane

Roy Keane is one of soccer's most commanding figures, with an 18-year playing career spanning Cobh Ramblers, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, and Celtic. He captained Manchester United from 1997 until his departure in 2005 and represented the Republic of Ireland for over 14 years, largely as team captain, later serving as assistant manager of the national team. After managing Sunderland and Ipswich, he reinvented himself as a TV analyst for ITV. He co-authored the memoir 'The Second Half' with Booker Prize-winning writer Roddy Doyle.
